How to plot devices on the floor map?
In Cartos, devices can be plotted in two different ways:
- Plotting Devices in Current State (Real Devices)
- Plotting Devices in Transition State (Virtual Devices)
Plotting Devices in Current State (Real Devices)
After importing the device details into the Master Lookup Table, the next step is to plot each device to the required area on the floor map. However, if the DCA file is imported with the level details (such as country, site, building, and floor) along with the mandatory column information, those devices will be auto-plotted.
Plotting Devices in Transition State (Virtual Devices)
In Transition State, the Fleet Designer can either work around with the existing devices or can add a new device (virtual asset) on the floor based on the requirement.
