Using the Cartos fleet design application, the Fleet Designer can recommend a new replacement device (one-to-one or many-to-one Hardware Consolidation (HCD)) based on the existing device attributes (for example, A3 vs. A4, color vs. mono, SFP vs. MFP(Multi Function Printer)) and page volume usage (various page volume bands). The Cartos fleet design application also auto-recommends an appropriate device replacement from the device selection matrix.
Currently, Cartos fleet design supports the device selection matrix file (in .csv format). Device selection matrix import is project specific and when a project is copied, the device selection matrix file also gets copied.
📓 - For now, existing unplotted devices are not recommended for replacement.
